Mechanical Emergency’s: There can be hundreds of them

Creating Lift:

The Different Between Airplane & Jet:

Importance of listening to Air Traffic Control:

  • When Taxiing: watch out for other airplanes, watch out for ice
  • Ground control will sequence airplanes out to runway.
  • tell you who to follow
  • stop certain point
  • wing tip can hit other planes
  • when taxiing big airplanes you cannot see the wings

ground control part of air traffic control

ATC can be broken down. Big Centers only control above 18,000 feet.

One controller hands you over to the next.

Where can I add this gem: Airplane/Jets not made to go backwards. there is a reverse that slows down but not reverse that actually backs up.

See weather taxonomy for additional notes.
